Our active overnight support at EACHDS involves unabated night long support. Our direct support expert will stay awake, if needed in extreme cases, and will extend support at any given point in time as and when needed.
What sleep overnight care ideally involves?
When it comes to offering sleep overnight care, there are various options available. In case of complex needs, the support expert will remain awake all throughout the night for active monitoring and act whenever needed.
In case of less complex needs, the expert may sleep but will be available on time for waking the participant up. However, in certain cases, there may be a need for combined care. Our support staff may be inactive for 8 hours and active for 2 hours, depending upon the condition of the participant.
